Presentations and Art Work Exchange

On February 12, Keiko writes that Jason Collins stood on stage in front of all of the middle school students and delivered a speech about global warming--in Japanese!  We are all very proud of Jace, and look forward to seeing a video of that speech!

The work with the children in Kamagari Elementary School is going well. Cian Pennell and Keiko sensei proposed the idea of establishing an artwork exchange between Brookside Elementary School in Norwalk (where our J-Club students teach Japanese once a week) and Kamagari Elementary School. The principal of Kamagari, Mr. Nishimura, likes the idea.  We hope that the exchange will happen!

Keiko sensei writes that the children in Kamagari are lovely and adorable, and that they are all having lots of fun teaching and working with the students.
